"Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it."
- Luke 18:15-17
The Sojourner Playgroup, aka "Lil Sojourners", is an opportunity where mothers and their children can grow in the gospel through songs, crafts, story time, playtime and prayer.
The playgroup meets twice a month on Fridays at either someone’s home or at various venues (depending on the activity/field trip). The first meeting of the month offers a structured playgroup where children and their moms pray, sing songs, listen to a bible story, and create a craft or participate in an activity in conjunction with the story read aloud. The subsequent playgroup meeting is either a field trip or play time at someone’s home.
Lil Sojourners typically meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. If you would like information about the Lil Sojourners playgroup or would like to get involved, please contact Grace Lee.
