"And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them."
- Mark 10:13-16
The goal of Sojourner's childrens ministry is to teach our young Sojourners about God’s saving grace and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We aim to ensure that each child is trained in the truths of the Scripture by utilizing biblical/Reformed curriculum. We offer classes organized by age group: toddler, preschool, young elementary and middle elementary.
Our Sunday School begins immediately following fellowship time. We begin together in a time of praise and worship, followed by classroom lessons based on age groups. Our Sunday School teachers strive to lay the foundation of the gospel truth, the "good news" that is the principle behind our gospel-centered Sunday School.
